"Jontu" (AUST/CAN CH Debonne's Sexy In A Box (imp CAN)) bred by Dewayne Ward in Canada came to Australia in 2013 and was our first ever Pom that we imported. Jontu at the time was 5 years old and was intended to be an outcross stud dog for our breeding program that would still maintain the moderate type, correct coat and good soundness/movement that we strive for as well having great health, longevity and fertility in his famliy that also is so important. Although he came here first and foremost to be a stud dog, Jontu was shown by Dewayne for us in Canada to achieve his Canadian Championship so we decided to also show Jontu to his Australian Championship title for Dewayne. At 6 years old and despite his age clearly showing, Jontu was still very competitve in the Toy Group ring in limited outings and he proudly attained the highest honour of a BEST IN SHOW won on the back of his superb movement! Jontu is a beautifully linebred dog with 18 instances of the breed icon AM CH Bev-Nor's Toasted Fudge and we are privileged to have his bloodline available in Australia. As a stud dog Jontu had outstanding success for us producing 8 Champions from his 9 Pomquest puppies produced, 6 of which were Group winners including 2 BIS winners plus 2 multi RUBIS winners!
